Fastest of LCC's riders and 14th overall with a time of 1 hr, 11 mins & 22 secs was Tom Brook, who's riding most of the early season regional SPOCO (Sporting Course) time trials and continuing his rich vein of form from last year. Further down the results board, in 54th and 55th places respectively, came Dave Horton (1:23:44) and David Deakins (1:23:48).
If you like the idea of hilly time trials, there are a couple of upcoming events local to Lancaster you might want to think about entering. On Sunday 12th April is Nelson Wheelers annual 50 mile time trial, the Circuit of the Dales, which like the shorter Circuit of Ingleborough starts & finishes near Ingleton. And the following Sunday, 19th April, is our very own open hilly TT, 21 miles up one side of the Lune Valley from Caton to Kirkby Lonsdale and back down the other. For details of these events, as all others, go to the Cycling Time Trials website, here.
